Taraneh is Iran's
most famous singer. She lives a luxurious and glamerous
lifestyle, but there is no real happiness in her life.
Then comes Babak; a seventeen year old fan who suffers
from cancer and has few more days to live. After numerous
attempts by Babak they finally meet each other and fall in love.
Taraneh is the happiest she has ever been...until she learns
about Babak's illness. She quits her career and gets ready
for a trip to Europe where she hopes to cure her lover, but...
The movie was
the highest grossing film in Iran's history (until 1979) and was
shown for several years after in former Soviet Republics,
Afghanistan and many other Middle Eastern countries.
